In their triple meaning of natural, scenic and historical-cultural repositories, environmental repositories have a number of fundamental life-support functions: they supply natural resources for territorial development; they absorb negative externalities caused by human activities; they have a recreational function, simply in that they can be used and enjoyed.
The Simone Cesaretti Foundation considers the issue of natural repositories a fundamental challenge to development sustainability and has organized the following educational and communication events on the subject:
EDUCATIONAL PROJECT
Educating to respect the environment
SEMINARS
Values, Knowledge, Environment, Participation: Gears for Human Development Sustainability
Relationship between agriculture and renewable resources
WEB PROJECT
The Simone Cesaretti Foundation has devoted a section of the Portal of Sustainability to this topic, collecting and making available to subscribers an accurate compendium of in-depth contributions.
